Just in time for Halloween, my surgeon informed me this morning that the scar left from my operation will be in the shape of a bat. It’s even medically named ‘the batwing’, how cool is that?! The chemo has done it’s job and shrunk the tumour so much (from 40mm down to less than 20mm) that I will be having a lumpectomy rather than a mastectomy. I’m just waiting for the operation on Monday 3rd November now, I can’t wait for the tumour to be out of my body.
