Skull-pulp-tures

Back in October I produced an art project to raise money for Breast Cancer Care as well as getting my creative juices flowing after 3 months of chemo that zapped my energy, hence no art or music making.

I made skull sculptures (which I nicknamed Skull-pulp-tures) from the fruit and vegetable pulp leftover from my juicer and photographed them. People donating money could request what type of skull they wanted me to make, in the end I raised over £1250.

I also produced this film and soundtrack to explain how I made my Skull-pulp-tures:

And here are the finished Skull-pulp-tures. Unfortunately I had to throw them all away as they started to rot and attract swarms of fruit flies into our kitchen which upset my housemates…
