The return of Berylhead brings luck for chemo
So it seems that Berylhead has a long lost sister that is still hanging around the chemo ward at the Sussex Cancer Centre. Check out this bitch!
After having chemo delayed for nearly two weeks due to my neutrophils being too low, I finally managed to have my second cycle of Gem/Carb on Friday. It was administered through my portacath for the first time, so much easier and less painful than recieving through IV in hand.
I just hope it’s doing its job or at least keeping things stable. I have a CT scan on Thursday so I guess the results will show whether the fucker that is cancershitstorm is being obliterated or not. Until then I’m going to live in a state of ignorant bliss and pretend everything is okay!
